Our research is aimed at understanding people's behaviors, thoughts, and emotions in the context of intimate relationships. We study how and why these relationships impact overall quality of life, and test treatments meant to help with difficulties in these areas. The Sexuality and Relationships Lab is located in Gatke Hall on the Willamette University Campus in Salem, Oregon. The lab is run by a dedicated team of undergraduate research assistants who are trained and knowledgeable about sexual health and intimate relationships. They engage in a number of activities under the supervision of Dr. Kyle Stephenson including recruitment of participants, clinical assessment, data management and analysis, and aiding in the treatment of sexual problems. Participation in our studies may involve completing self-report measures regarding your sexual and relational experiences, being interviewed by a researcher, or receiving treatment for sexual difficulties. All information obtained in these studies is kept strictly confidential.
