The Department of Nursing Education offers a Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing degree upon successful completion of its four-year professional nursing program. The graduate of this program is eligible to take the licensure examination (NCLEX-RN) to become a registered nurse. The Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing degree is considered the entry level for professional nursing and
serves as a foundation for career development and for graduate education in nursing.
