TODAY IS THE DAY! Social work students please join us on SBY campus on Thursday, September 10th from 3 to 5pm in Conway hall 252A for a dirty soda bar and snacks.
We will also have crafting activities (make your own stress ball, coloring, etc.).

Stop by and say hi, make a new dirty soda recipe, or use one of ours, and meet faculty and fellow students!

This is on the Salisbury Campus and is open to all students, including our online students. If you are in or around the SBY campus, please join the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) and your SSW faculty!

Congratulations to BASW student, April Joudrey on her successful completion and presentation of her summer research project: The Roads to Racism: Designed to Divide.

Please join us for an upcoming CEU event at Salisbury campus on Friday, October 16 from 1 to 4pm. 3 MD Category 1 Anti-Oppressive Social Work Practice CEUs will be awarded. Cost is 30$ for non-affiliated School of Social Work attendees and $15 for School of Social Work affiliated attendees.

Workshop participants and all members of the community are invited to join us at Dr. Koh's Book Launch Party directly after this event to celebrate her upcoming book, "Anti-Oppressive Social Work Ethics".

This meets the MD Board of Social Work Examiners Continuing Education Requirement for Anti-Oppressive Social Work (needed for licensure each renewal cycle). It does not meet the Implicit Bias and Structural Racism Training for Healthcare Professionals standard. Please check out the Maryland.gov Implicit Biases Resources page for more information about that requirement.
