We are proud to celebrate Westminster alum Silvia Castro Bennett, MBA, CEO & President of the Suazo Business Center and 2025 CEO of the Year.

Under her visionary leadership, the Suazo Business Center secured a transformative $600,000 KeyBank Foundation grant, the largest KeyBank award in Utah to expand entrepreneurial programming and increase access to bilingual business education across the state. This funding will strengthen support for underserved entrepreneurs, reduce barriers to opportunity, and help small businesses launch, grow, and thrive.

Silvia’s work reflects a deep commitment to economic empowerment, inclusive innovation, and community impact. As a Westminster alum and dedicated leader, she exemplifies the values of service, leadership, and lifelong learning that define our alumni network.

Her continued impact is a powerful reminder of how Westminster alumni are shaping industries, strengthening communities, and creating opportunity across Utah and beyond.
