In this feature, researchers from the Department of Geology and Geophysics, Department of Atmospheric Science, Wilkes Center for Climate Science and Policy, and other community partners explore how the lake has changed over time, what its sediments reveal about human influence, the surprising life forms that call it home, and the science guiding efforts to protect its future.
