Meet Scott Conway 👏
"Scott Conway joined the U.S. Air Force in October 2017 after completing his associate degree at Ohio State University. He served as an Advanced Fighter Avionics Technician working on the MQ-9 Reaper. During his four-year enlistment, he graduated Basic Military Training as an Honor Graduate, served as Dorm Chief, and earned the title of Warhawk. He went on to graduate Technical School with Top Airman and Top Flight honors, completed his Community College of the Air Force associate degree, and was stationed at Creech Air Force Base, where he also completed one deployment.
Following his military service, Scott relocated to Salt Lake City to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah. While completing his degree, he worked as an Engineering Technician at Black Diamond Equipment, where he supported product development and manufacturing improvements. He also served as Vice Chair of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers student chapter, placed fifth in a Mechatronics competition while earning four design awards, and completed his senior capstone project focused on the design, manufacturing, and testing of a fixed-wing emergency medical supply drone.
In addition to his academic and professional work, Scott earned his Outdoor Emergency Care certification and volunteered with ski patrol at Brighton Resort. He also holds a P3 paragliding license and enjoys skiing, rock climbing, paragliding, motorcycling, and golfing."
