So what are you waiting for?

There are many ways to get involved within this organization. We visit elementary schools in the community and educate them on proper dental hygiene, coordinate with sealants for smiles, volunteer at dental clinics, and other events throughout the year. We also host socials throughout the semester that allow you to meet other students currently applying to dental school and gain friendships. There

are many opportunities to attend guest lectures from various dental schools, which are an excellent way to make a good first impression on schools you will be applying to. They offer great advice on how to get accepted into dental school and what they look for in an applicant. We also partner with DAT Bootcamp for some great discounts on prep material! My name is Maddy and I am an incoming D1 at UOP Dugoni in San Francisco.

My friend Dominique (incoming D1 at Oklahoma University) and I started a podcast called ‘Dental Mentors Podcast’. 🎙️It is a free resource for pre-dentals like yourself, to gain advice on the process of getting into dental school (even with a below average GPA/DAT)!

I know firsthand that the journey to dental school is not an easy one and sincerely wished I had someone or something like this podcast to offer me insight/advice on the process. I wanted to post this here as I know it could be of good help to you. We have been through this process of getting into dental school and wanted to share our knowledge to help others.

Hiii, I’m Jordan Pollard. I am a senior at the University of Utah, majoring in biology and minoring in Chemistry. I am this years PDS treasurer. I have loved meeting so many other amazing pre-Dental students, who share the same passion as I do. I fell in love with dentistries ability to provide a lifelong educational challenge, while bringing confidence to others with pretty teeth.😁 I have recently grown a passion for research and working with geriatrics which I hope to pursue both in my dental career ✨
