University Union - University of Utah The Union is the community center of the college, serving students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests. It's the place where new friends meet.

The Union offers a variety of events, dining options, and houses several campus resource centers. Where students learn to lead. Where parties and events draw thousands. We took a look into our time capsule and found an article from February 1957 - the year the Union you know today, opened its doors. In the article, the University was celebrating its 107th year. ⁠

Now, 68 years later, we’re continuing the legacy and celebrating 175 years of the University of Utah. This Giving Day, the Union Programming Council is making history with its first-ever Giving Day Telethon to support the Union Scholarship Fund.⁠

The event will take place on April 9th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. It will also be live-streamed for those who can't make it but want to join in on the fun and raise funds for Union Scholarships.⁠

-Select the Amazon Locker Concentration with the address of the University of Utah Union Building at 200 S Central Campus Drive when placing your order on Amazon.com.⁠

-Receive a pickup code once your package is delivered to the Union.⁠

The Larry H. and Gail Miller Foundation & Union Scholarship for Veteran Students will provide 4, $2500 scholarships (2 in the fall semester and 2 in the spring semester) to assist student veterans in accomplishing their academic goals. The purpose is to identify and recognize a student veteran whose involvement has or will contribute to the overall mission of the VSC & the Union. This includes students who are or will be associated with leadership opportunities within the VSC or Union. These opportunities can include, but are not limited to, involvement with an office or event(s) in the VSC, Union, or veteran-focused organization, activity, or initiative.⁠
