Student Media (including Wasatch Magazine) is seeking submissions for the Faultline Film Awards. This outdoor-oriented festival features short (15-minute) films with themes that include love for the Wasatch, environmental justice, and other topics. This is an opportunity to showcase your work and gain professional recognition.

Looking for a great on-campus job? Apply to become an Orientation Leader! Come Spring and Summer, you’ll work closely with the team of Academic Advisors in the College of Humanities, and you’ll get some great leadership experience for your resume. On-campus housing is included in your pay for summer as well. Yes, it’s a paid position! It begins in November.

Daily Utah Chronicle Sports Interns:
The Chronicle is looking for students who are interested in applying to be an intern writer and earn internship credit. They are also hiring for an assistant editor (scholarship included with this position). For those who are interested, they are now accepting applications for the assistant editor position. All applications must be sent to my email ([email protected]) with the required info (see below) by Friday, August 4 at noon. Interviews will be held next week (and the following if need be), but they are hoping to have the position filled by the end of the second week of August at the latest.

If interested, applicants must email me their resume and a list of relevant courses that they've taken. Also, write two paragraphs explaining goals you would like to see met from the desk and what you feel you have to offer to help progress the sports desk forward.

RadioWest is the weekday interview program on KUER, NPR Utah. We are accepting applications for one Fall Semester 2017 internship.

The intern will learn behind-the-scenes radio production by providing administrative and technical support for the show. Prior radio production experience is not necessary, but excellent computer and research skills, as well as a strong curiosity about the news, are essential.

Duties include audio editing, listener services, database manage-ment, audio archive maintenance and other tasks as assigned.

The position requires a commitment of 8-12 hours a week, week-day afternoons (Mondays – Thursdays). Stipend, $500.
