Our Summer Food Drive starts today! 🥫

From June 1–July 18, we'll be collecting donations to support local families and help children who may lose access to school meals during the summer.

Check out the slides to learn what to donate and where to donate.

Don't forget to follow the weekly leaderboards displayed throughout campus to see how your floor is doing in the competition! 🏆

Your floor corresponds to your major. For example, Communications students can support the 6th floor by placing donations in the designated collection box.

Every item counts. Let's work together to reach our goal of 3,000 pounds!

Thank you for your support! We have collected 60 pairs of sneakers and donated them to GotSneakers? A sneaker recycling organization.

Every year, people throw away their unwanted sneakers after 250-400 miles, or every 125-200 days. Since sneakers are manufactured with materials that are not biodegradable, they remain in landfills or are incinerated, which leads to toxic chemicals in our air and soil.

The EPA estimates that 200-300 million pairs of shoes are thrown into our landfills each year. With your help, we can keep sneakers out of landfills, reduce toxic chemicals in our air and soil, make quality footwear more affordable, and raise money to support our club's mission. Let’s make a difference together!

This year, 16 of our business club attended ICDC in Kentucky. We explored the city, network, and learned from professionals in different fields of business, as well as competed with other teams from other schools!

Camille got 3rd place in Entrepreneurship: Growing Your Business. Sam was a top 10 finalist in Retail Management. We also had 3 finalists in other events. Congratulations to everyone who participated!

Starting March 30, drop off your gently used sneakers at the 6th Floor Office.

What happens next:

Sneakers in good condition are resold in secondhand markets, making quality footwear more affordable.
Worn-out or damaged sneakers are recycled to create new materials or energy.

Reduce waste. Reuse. Recycle. ♻️
