Since 2002, the MUSS has been more than a student section — it's been the heartbeat of Utah Athletics. Nearly 100,000 students have called it home, and Rice-Eccles Stadium has become one of the most electric, intimidating venues in the country because of it. There's truly nothing like the MUSS.

This October, we're bringing generations of MUSS alumni back together to celebrate 25 years of that legacy during Homecoming.

We are thrilled to share that Heidi Woodbury BS'89 has been selected as a 2026 Pathfinder through the Salt Lake Chamber and will be honored at the 50th Annual Women & Business Conference and Athena Awards Luncheon this November! 👏

Heidi is the senior vice president for university advancement at The University of Utah where she leads our comprehensive advancement enterprise, including philanthropy, alumni relations, advancement services, and donor engagement. Since joining the University's executive leadership team in 2019, she has championed a collaborative, donor-centric approach to fundraising and organizational excellence. ❤️

We are so grateful for Heidi's devotion to higher education, her commitment to empowering students, and her efforts to strengthen communities and advance The University of Utah 's mission. Join us in celebrating this incredible achievement!
