Jasmine Velez-Zick examines the realities of domestic violence through personal stories and expert insight. Featuring former officer and trauma educator Justin Boardman, advocate and survivor Kris Barney, and survivor Rosa Narváez, the conversation unpacks how abuse begins quietly, how the brain responds to trauma, and why shame keeps so many people silent. Jasmine weaves their stories with her own, offering a raw and honest look at the patterns of coercive control and the courage required to break free.
