Symptoms of burnout are not always immediately obvious, like a drop in performance. Experts in mental health across different areas discussed burnout on a panel Monday, Oct. 12. Jordan DiiBon, founder of the AccessAbility First Foundation; Ashlee Irwin, a peer mentor from Fostering Rams Success; Kyria Villa, the director of Counseling Services; and Dr. Tyler Livingston, a professor in the psychology department, were present. 💭🫂

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚

Today is a reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health. You never truly know what someone may be carrying behind the scenes, so choose kindness, check in on the people you love, and remember that it’s okay to ask for help.
You are not alone. Your feelings are valid. Your mental health matters. 🫶
Let’s continue breaking the stigma and creating spaces where everyone feels safe to speak, seek support, and be heard.
