Hello Future Nurse Leaders,

We are coming close to fulfilling our 1-year term as officers for NSNA. Current recruitment is taking place for the next set of officers who will take NSNA to a higher level. All positions, except for President and VP, will be opened for current 7th semester students. This is the perfect time to step into leadership since you will have the summer to make your plans for next semester. You will also be able to work with one the most awesome professors on campus – Dr. Ford.

Some perks of being an officer include:
- Sharpening your leadership skills
- Giving back to the community (including Community Health Fairs) and your fellow nursing students
- Networking and faculty references
- Scholarships
- Team building/bonding
- Competitive edge when seeking employment

If interested, please see attached description of positions and e-mail me by the end of this week with the position you’re applying for and your current semester. Short speeches will be given at election on April 8th. Looking forward to meeting the next NSNA leaders!

-2015-2016 NSNA President

Good Afternoon,

Thank you to all that joined us at the NSNA monthly meeting today. We learned a lot about what the NSNA national organization has to offer, including resume/portfolio assistance and scholarships. The next NSNA meeting will be scheduled for Friday, April 8th from 1-2 pm in which elections for the new officers will be held. Please contact me if you have any questions at [email protected]. More information on the next meeting will be sent out in a few weeks.

Have a wonderful Spring Break!!
