UTSA Criminal Justice The UTSA CRJ Department has over 900 undergraduates and 50 graduate students making it one of the largest in the nation.

Our main office is located on the UTSA Downtown Campus, in the Durango Building at 4.112. We are proud to offer our students a wide array of programming including a minor in Criminology & Criminal Justice, Bachelor of

Arts degree through our Undergraduate Program along with a Master of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice through our Graduate Program. In addition to their classroom studies, all Undergraduate Criminal Justice majors complete an internship in a local criminal justice agency. Students completing their Bachelor's Degree may pursue professional careers in government or the private sector, as well as apply for admission to law school or other graduate programs. The Master of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice provides competencies in criminological theory, research methodology, and justice policy planning and analysis. Students completing the Master's Degree Program may advance in their current careers or study admission to doctoral study. Our Faculty members teach and conduct research on a wide range of topics. 2019 is in the books!! Over the last nine years Criminal Justice Department has over 150 students study abroad in Spain! Alumni share your favorite memory!!

Typically, we visit the Supreme Court of Spain but this year we could not because of the heightened security around the trial of 12 Catalan politicians for their role in facilitating the illegal independence referendum of October 1, 2017 and the unilateral independence declaration in the Catalan parliament.
