Occupational Therapy Associate Professor Chinyu Wu envisions a future in which people with both serious mental illness and another major health condition are able to gain the skills and support they need to manage both. She is leading an interdisciplinary project to create an evidence-based lifestyle intervention for people with Type 2 diabetes and a diagnosis of serious mental illness, such as major depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.
