🚀 Unveiling History: Cox Manufacturing's Unforgettable Role in Apollo 11 Mission 🌌

Did you know that Cox Manufacturing played a pivotal role in the historic Apollo 11 mission? Our bobbins were the crucial components for the guidance computer that guided the lunar landing!

📜 In a remarkable letter from Sprague Electric Company, a high-ranking official expressed concern to our CEO during the 1965 US Draft for the Vietnam War. With Cox Mfg. being the sole supplier of these vital bobbins, worry loomed about potential production slowdowns. At that time, only a dozen skilled individuals were crafting these components.

The letter praised our innovative approach, stating: "Your technique of making these bobbins just cannot be duplicated anywhere else in this country or outside the USA. We have tried for years to find another source without success."

Despite the challenges, our dedicated team ensured on-time delivery with precision, preventing any compromise to the Apollo 11 launch.
