Each fall, St. Mary's Law welcomes the start of the new judicial year with this centuries-old tradition. Connect with Registered Student Organizations, advocacy teams, journals, campus offices, bar prep providers and professional organizations. This annual event is a great place to meet people and get your questions answered. Tables are set up in the Law Alumni Room, the foyer and the Law Commons.

With a substantial in-person audience and many watching virtually, St. Mary's Law's annual U.S. Supreme Court Roundup was an informative evening highlighting the seminal SCOTUS cases of the last year. Students, alumni and community members heard presentations from constitutional experts and asked compelling questions at the end of the program.

Mason Clark, J.D., Assistant Professor of Law, speaks to KSAT TV after an appeals court flags AI-generated fake cases in a San Antonio ISD lawsuit. Mason cautions attorneys because AI can make false information sound convincing when, in fact, it is worthless.

Artificial intelligence is increasingly finding its way into classrooms, phones and courtrooms. But a recent case involving the San Antonio Independent School District is highlighting the risks of relying on AI without checking its work.

St. Mary's Law welcomes the public to attend its annual U.S. Supreme Court Roundup featuring constitutional experts recapping the seminal cases issued for the 2025-2026 term. The event is supported by the Judge Peter Michael Curry Lectureship Endowment.

New J.D. students spent yesterday morning volunteering with their classmates at 15 nonprofit organizations across San Antonio. Students in these photos are shown at Special Olympics Texas, Morgan's Wonderland and Woodlawn Park. The students worked hard during the 1L Day of Service, which is part of Law Orientation.
