It is a 4-week training camp for athletes ages 12–17 focused on speed, agility, strength & movement skills coached by certified UTSA trainers 💪

📅 June 1–26 or July 6–31
📍 Mon/Wed/Fri from 7:45–10 AM
🏋️$399 per session

Starting 5/26 Campus Recreation will be open Mon-Fri from 6am-8pm and closed on weekends.

🤽Aquatic Center 7am-9am and 11:30am-7pm
🥾Outdoor Resource Center 3pm-6pm
🧗Climbing Center 3pm-8pm
⚽️Lights on from dusk until 10pm at the Rec Field Complex with no equipment checkouts available

Quadball brought the energy, the competition, and an unforgettable championship run to the field. 🧹🔥 Throughout the tournament, the team battled through 4 games on day one and 2 more on day two, fighting their way all the way to the national championship — and bringing home the NATIONAL TITLE! 🏆⚡⁠

Freshmen standouts Aden De La Rosa and Evan Furchuk stepped up in a huge way, leading the charge and making a major impact in the final game! 💪🙌 Season veterans Emme Gouveia and Javier Tijerina helped pave the way for the team’s success all season long, providing leadership, experience, and heart every step of the way ❤️⁠

🎉 Celebrating Graduate Jason Guevara! 🎓✨⁠
⁠
Jason Guevara is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice with a focus in Law and Courts ⚖️🎓. During his time at the Rec, he learned to be a leader in his community and an advocate for his friends, coworkers, and patrons 🤝🌟. He also built meaningful connections and found lasting friendships that will stay with him beyond graduation 💙👏.⁠
⁠
Jason plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on domestic terrorism and grievance-related political violence 📚🧠. After completing his MA, he intends to attend law school to earn his Juris Doctor in Criminal and Civil Law ⚖️📖. He hopes to begin his career in the public sector as an attorney or analyst before eventually transitioning to the private sector 🚀💼.⁠

She has developed strong problem-solving and management skills while working at the Rec, where she learned how to remain both professional and friendly with patrons and coworkers 😊💼. Through this experience, she gained a deeper sense of responsibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment 🔄👏.⁠
