Mary's University, founded in 1852 by Marianist brothers and priests, is the first institution of higher learning in San Antonio and the oldest Catholic university in the Southwest. Join us Saturday, Oct. 3, for the 12th annual 5K run/walk through St. Mary’s University’s historic and scenic campus.

Rattlers, their families and all who are eager to participate are invited to register for the StMU 5K for the Neighborhood and enjoy music and food afterward. All proceeds benefit the University’s next-door neighbor, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Forging partnerships that will bring exceptional Rattlers to the St. Mary’s University School of Law. 🐍⚖️

There’s a new pathway to St. Mary’s Law thanks to a formal agreement between Texas Lutheran University and the University's J.D. program.

The new TLU-St. Mary’s Articulation Program is available to current TLU students who are on track to complete a bachelor’s degree or who earned their degree within the past three years. Those accepted to the program who maintain a good standing during their undergrad years and achieve acceptable LSAT scores are guaranteed admission to St. Mary’s Law as full-time, in-person students.

This new agreement ensures that the law school receives highly qualified applicants, preserving St. Mary’s Law's legacy as the premier source of legal education for San Antonio and South Texas over the past 100 years.

The Catholic college experience helps ensure that graduates pursue meaningful lives and are better prepared to use AI ethically, as found in the St. Mary's University Center for Catholic Studies’ third Holistic Impact Report. 🌐💡

Led by Jason King, Ph.D., Beirne Chair and Director of the Center, HIR 3.0 found that more graduates of Catholic colleges and universities:

- Use AI at least daily
- Feel that their institution at least moderately prepared them to use AI, with
- 72% of graduates say they understand their life’s meaning, and
- 36% of graduates believe AI will have a significant or transformative benefit for society.

Not only are our students ready to engage with artificial intelligence, but they are also well-equipped to consider its future applications and uses. 👩🏻‍💻🤖
