The Downtown Campus is an integral part of UTSA, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs for those who live, work, or prefer to attend school in the downtown area of San Antonio, Texas. s offers 18 undergraduate and eight graduate degree programs and is home to the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning and the College of Public Policy as well as the departments of Counseling and Educational Psychology within the College of Education and Human Development. The Downtown Campus is also home to UTSA's Institute for Economic Development and the majority of the university's community outreach programs. Other features of the Downtown Campus include a 19,000 square-foot library, a 150-seat computer lab, a professional quality theater, an art gallery, a student activities center, and dining facilities. (April 13, 2018) -- University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) President Taylor Eighmy today announced a fifth presidential initiative for UTSA’s strategic planning portfolio. The Presidential Initiative on the Downtown Campus will advance UTSA’s role as San Antonio’s urban serving university.
