Join us tomorrow, January 30, for the 25th Annual Symposium on Legal Malpractice & Ethics, hosted by St. Mary’s Journal on Legal Malpractice & Ethics at the Bexar County Courthouse in San Antonio.

This year’s symposium features multiple keynote speakers, 6 CLE Ethics credits, and timely topics including:
• Ethics and Originalism
• The impact of AI on legal practice
• Pro bono legal access
• Professional identity formation under ABA Standard 303
• Cross-cultural communication in law
• Public criticism and the legal profession

We are honored to welcome Suffolk Law’s Associate Professor Colin M. Black as a featured speaker at the 25th Annual Symposium on Legal Malpractice & Ethics, hosted by St. Mary’s Journal on Legal Malpractice & Ethics.

Professor Black will present “On Becoming a Lawyer: Implementing Standard 303 in the First Year,” an urgent and timely conversation about the ethical responsibility of law schools to guide students through professional identity formation. Drawing on legal education reform, professional formation theory, and his own teaching experience, Professor Black offers a vision of legal education that emphasizes reflection, values-based responsibility, and trust in the profession.
