🎉 Congratulations to CSUSB’s Guillermo Escalante on being elected president of the International Society of Sports Nutrition, one of the world’s leading organizations in sports nutrition! 🌱⚽️

Dr. Escalante will serve as president for the 2026–28 term, providing leadership and supporting continued growth in the field. Through this role, he will help advance research, education, and collaboration in sports nutrition and human performance.

✨From CSUSB to the Hollywood Bowl 🎶 student Gabriel Orozco made his professional debut alongside LA Philharmonic performing “Music from the Films of Wes Anderson.” ✨

Orozco's dedication brought him to one of the world's most iconic stages. He credits CSUSB for his success "Through my training and the opportunities I’ve had to perform at CSUSB, I was able to build my confidence and feel vocally prepared for a performance of that scale.”🎤💙

Chief Griffin will be formally sworn in on Sept. 4, 2026, at 9 a.m. at the Santos Manuel Student Union, South, Event Center B.
