in the works … Happy week everyone! The Beta Theta Chapter would like to announce our 3 in 1 Opportunity Drawing! To buy a ticket(s), contact this page or the brother’s phone # before (05/25). Ticket prices are as listed on the flyer and a majority of the proceeds will be donated to our philanthropy, “Nuestra America Initiative.”
This philanthropy collectively consists of 6 different organizations:
• Peguero Family Foundation - $900 will help to create a water well for a community of 8000 people along with supplying school supplies for children in need with any additional funds donated in El Valle, DR.
• The Starfish Foundation - A non-profit doing work in Flor de Bastion, Guayaquil, Ecuador. $100 sponsors a student for 1 year.
• Fresh Youth Initiative - We help low-income, immigrant, and first-generation children to secure futures, healthy lives, and strong academic achievement.
• Hispanic Center of Western Michigan - The goal is to provide unmet social services to the Hispanic Community such as a pre-school and GEDs for Spanish speakers
• UnidosUS - A non-partisan, non-profit organization that is at the forefront of issues such as civil rights, criminal justice, immigration, and so on.
• United We Dream - A non-profit that focuses on immigrant services such as education access, defense against deportations, protection, and protecting LGBTQ migrants.
