This past weekend, our chapter president Evan Atkin and SAE Alumni Association president, Adam Porter, attended the 163rd national fraternity convention in Louisville, Kentucky, which is the largest meeting of the organization.

Our fraternity worked to raise over 12,799 pounds of food to be donated to Aztecs Rock Hunger, benefiting the San Diego Food Bank! This will help make a positive impact on our local community by helping fellow San Diegans who suffer from food insecurity.

We are grateful to have such a strong, supportive Greek community here at SDSU. Last week SAE held our first annual BB Cup in collaboration with Phi Kappa Theta, Alpha Epsilon Pi and Theta Chi. We’d like to thank the fraternities that participated in the basketball tournament, hot dog eating contest, and the dunk contest featuring Zylan and Malik from the SDSU basketball team. A big shoutout to all our sponsors, spectators, and Dylan Colliflower & Alex Shapiro for organizing this philanthropy. Phi Alpha to the home team SAE for winning the 1st annual BB Cup!
