San Diego Mesa Speech and Debate Team

San Diego Mesa Speech and Debate Team This course/team is for the student who is interested in intercollegiate forensics (speech and debate) competition. (FT).

Special emphasis is given to the preparation of platform speeches (informative, persuasive and after-dinner) and novice intercollegiate debate. Students taking the course for one unit participate in one event and one tournament; for two units, two events and two tournaments; for three units, three events and three tournaments. Associate Degree Credit & transfer to CSU and/or private colleges and u

niversities. This course can help you earn the following degrees or certificates:
Communication - Associate in Arts
Communication - Certificate of Performance
