Welcome to our new members
inducted to STTI Zeta Mu At-Large.
Our induction ceremony on April 16h at Founders Chapel on the campus of USD was a lovely event and if you attended, I hope you enjoyed it.
I encourage you to spend some time at the STTI website, nursingsociety.org as well as the Zeta Mu At-Large site www.sttizetamu.org to learn what your membership in this organization and this chapter has to offer you. A wonderful thing about STTI is that there are opportunities for everyone, regardless of your level of experience or area of interest.
I also want to remind you that there are scholarships and grants available and the application deadline of May 1st is fast approaching. There are $1,000 grants available for research or evidence-based practice projects and there are $ 750 academic tuition scholarship available. As a reminder to all members, there is a $2,000 grant available to support presentation of work. If you can use some money, do not let these opportunities slip by. The applications are on the Zeta Mu At-Large website, www.sttizetamu.org . Again, welcome to STTI. If you have any questions about your membership or the how to get involved, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the board.
Kind Regards,
Wendy Hansbrough, PhD, RN President, Zeta Mu At-Large.
