Job Description
We are looking for a new Tax Associate to join our R&D Tax Credit processing team. The primary role of this position is to manage, input, evaluate, and process client information necessary to calculate the R&D Tax Credit. The selected candidate will work directly under a Senior Associate and Manager, working on client projects from start to finish while maintaining client relationships as well as delivering exceptional work. This job requires overtime and occasional work through weekends during the tax season.
Responsibilities
• Manage and organize incoming client information
• Process and interpret client data
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets and models
• Effectively coordinate with other team members
• Generate professional internal and client-facing communications
Qualifications
• Four-year college degree required. Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related degrees are strongly preferred.
• Two (2) or more years prior experience in accounting, tax or finance (including internships) preferred
• Experience in preparing/reviewing tax provisions, corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships preferred
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel & Word. Advanced skills in Excel preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment with a focus on customer service
• Superior organizational and project management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Must be able to legally work in the U.S. Must have the ability to work additional hours as needed.

Job Description
We are looking for a new Analyst to join our R&D Tax Credit Project Accounting Data (PAD) team. The primary role of this position is to process and interpret large volumes of wage and hour data from client project accounting systems in order to assist in the calculation and support of R&D tax credits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confident and professional analytical skills by defining and developing Excel models based on clients' project accounting data. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
This position will require the capacity to work diligently and independently as well as the ability to quickly learn, understand, and explain a wide variety of concepts and information. No previous experience with accounting, research and development, or tax credits in general is necessary. This job requires overtime and occasional work through weekends during the tax season.
Job Qualifications
• Four-year college degree required. Students focused on Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related majors are preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively articulate the information analyzed
• High attention to detail, with the ability to perform job tasks quickly and independently
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
• Superior organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast- paced, deadline-driven environment
• Must be able to legally work in the U.S. and have the ability to work additional hours as needed.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• One (1) or more year prior experience in Accounting, Tax, or Finance (including internships)
• Having obtained or in the process of obtaining an active CPA license or equivalent (CA)
• US GAAP, IFRS and related financial reporting concepts and rules
• Prior experience in R&D
