The UC San Diego Veterans Staff Association will hold the annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony for the lives lost due to terrorists attacks on Friday, September 10th, at 12 p.m. at the Memorial Tree on Warren Mall by the Snake Path. will also be doing a Facebook Live of the September 11th memorial ceremony tomorrow at noon.

The SVRC will be closed on July 5th. We will be back Tuesday.

The SVRC will be closed today in observance of Juneteenth. Starting in 2022, we will celebrate the Juneteenth holiday according to the federal calendar.

On June 17, 2021, President Biden declared a federal holiday for Juneteenth, the day that celebrates and commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. This is an historic moment for our nation — 156 years in the making.
