This past Saturday, ASME SDSU hosted our fall Finite Element Analysis Workshop, where students were given the opportunity to learn important industry-standard skills about FEA and ANSYS simulation software from an ASME National Chapter member.

Students were introduced to the finite difference method, variational mechanics, FEA, element formulations, and energy methods and proceeded to work with examples from dynamics and heat transfer.

If you missed this opportunity, we will be hosting another FEA Workshop in the spring semester!
