At the Knauss School of Business, we cannot think of a more impactful purpose than teaching business as a force for good.

The Knauss School of Business is committed to developing socially responsible leaders with a global mindset through academically rigorous, relevant and values-based education and research. Our new building, the Knauss Center for Business Education (opening Fall 2022), promises to be an innovation and collaboration ecosystem that supports our vision of global stewardship through values-driven free enterprise.

Last week, we were pleased to hold the Knauss Networking Mixer, bringing together 236 students and 89 employers for an evening of meaningful conversations and professional connections! 🤝💼

Representing industries from finance and consulting to technology, marketing and healthcare, employers shared career insights and opportunities with our students.

We were especially delighted to welcome 44 alumni back to campus, along with 16 organizations offering visa sponsorship opportunities for international students.

Events like these help bridge the gap between the classroom and the professional world, empowering students to take the next steps in their careers.

Meet the Challengers 🎉

We’re excited to introduce the 2026 Fowler Business Concept Challenge Challengers: 16 teams of USD students representing the Knauss School of Business, College of Arts and Sciences, Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, and School of Law, who are ready to take their entrepreneurial ideas to the next level. These students are bringing their best ideas forward for a chance to win part of $45,000 in scholarships.

Stay tuned as we cheer on these Toreros, and join us at the Grand Finale on November 13 at 4 p.m. in the KIPJ Theatre to see who makes it to the top ⭐

What happens when the support you receive becomes the support you give? For Maren Bronson ‘27, it means turning every opportunity into impact.

This summer, the first-generation student interned with ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A donor-funded internship scholarship through Knauss made it possible, allowing her to pursue work she was truly passionate about.

“Even the small work I was doing was being translated into real, meaningful impact,” said Bronson ‘27. Now serving as president of the International Business Club, she’s bringing that experience back to her fellow Toreros!

We officially kicked off this year’s Knauss Mentorship Program on September 25 at Moniker General, and the energy on the patio was incredible. 🌟

A huge thank you to all of our amazing mentors and mentees who showed up ready to connect, learn and grow together. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community and we are endlessly grateful to our Knauss School of Business alumni who give back their time, insights and experience to empower the next generation.

The Knauss School of Business is proud to announce that it once again ranked in the top 100 for Best Undergraduate Business Programs by US News and World Report! 🌟

Up 5 spots from last year, the ranking landed at #83 for business. Knauss also ranked #16 for best undergraduate real estate programs and earned a spot at #37 for best entrepreneurship programs.

These rankings are made possible thanks to the amazing faculty and staff that ensure these programs are impactful. 💙
