What is STEM VIP?
a) We connect STEM students to a wide variety of seasoned professionals with STEM degrees (with careers in academia, business and government demonstrating the vast array of career choices).
b) VIP means “Vision Into (career/life) Possibilities”. We meet in a group setting once per week for 12 weeks for 1 hour via video conference. Each mentor will be on only once for 1 hour.

Incredible. Genetically modified bacteria that can convert sunlight to energy 10x more efficiently than plants.

The Harvard chemist who gave us the artificial leaf has genetically engineered bacteria to absorb hydrogen and carbon dioxide and convert them into fuel alcohol. Now he reports the process converts sunlight ten times more efficiently than plants do.
