"I get it-- it's a matter of educating and understanding that mindset of a child. A transgender child... Biological s*x and gender identity are completely separate. People need to learn to separate them."

Jennifer Surridge says even if other parents still don't understand the district's decision to allow her transgender daughter girl's bathroom privileges, she wants her child to be respected.
