Dear SOM Students,
I hope this email finds you well. As I am sure most of you have been monitoring the news regarding the pandemic COVID19 (Coronavirus) and should have received last night's email regarding updates from the university.
Here are the highlights for SOM graduate students:
1. All classes will begin tomorrow online (unless you have heard from your faculty about a different start time). You should have received information from your faculty already. If you have not, please reach out to them directly.
2. Campus is officially closed. Students CANNOT access the downtown campus until further notice.
3. Most student services (i.e., Disability Services, CAPS, Learning/Writing Center, University Library etc.) are available online.
4. We understand students are concerned about commencement. As you are all aware of the uncertainty of lies ahead in the coming months, the university is currently reviewing options given the circumstances. An email will go out when a plan has been made. Please be patient.
5. Fall registration begins on April 9. Registration information will go out no later than next week. You will be able to set up advising appointments via Zoom and phone. Registration will occur via myUSF as usual.
6. The Graduate Student Board elections have been postponed until further notice.
7. During these challenging times many of you may be experiencing anxiety, know that CAPS is available for counseling services.
