Happy Father's Day to all the fathers and father-figures who set an example of service to others.

The dads who serve as ushers, run sound, coach the youth group, or simply show up week after week — you are teaching something that lasts.

Today the Church also celebrates the Feast of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, patron of youth, who dedicated his short life entirely to serving others. His words are a fitting prayer for any father:
"In the twilight of our life, we shall be judged according to love."

May your day be full of rest, gratitude, and the people you love most.
