Seeking Paths to Heal from Historical & Individual Trauma: WRITING AS ALCHEMY FOR HEALING, led by Tanea Lunsford-Lynx
Thursday afternoon, 2-5 PM, May 4, 2023
Project SURVIVE, CCSF's peer education program to promote healthy relationships and prevent sexual violence, invites students in our broad community to engage in a free, interactive writing workshop and share a healthy community meal prepared by students in the CCSF Culinary Arts and Hospitality Studies department.
Tanea Lunsford-Lynx, third-generation Black San Franciscan on both sides, artist, activist, educator, abolitionist, award-winning writer, and CCSF Women's and Gender Studies professor will lead this interactive workshop on the role of the written word in the process of healing and transformation.
This is a free event for CCSF students, but pre-registration is required. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win preloaded cards for CCSF's The Lunch Box and Safeway/Albertson's.
