Completing our list of speakers, we are fortunate to announce Stephen Krauss will speaking at our event! Stephen Kraus is Chief Insights Officer of Ipsos MediaCT, and author of three books about success and affluence in America. Currently Steve helps lead the design, analysis and interpretation of the Ipsos Affluent Survey USA, a 38-year study tracking Affluent lives, lifestyles, media habits and purchasing patterns.

Mr. Krauss' talk will focus on how wealth concentration follows the idea of “rich getting richer,” but its implications are far more profound and widespread than this simple phrase conveys. In fact, four decades of wealth concentration and economic bifurcation have reshaped virtually every aspect of life throughout much of the world.

Our next speaker is Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati! Sadhvi lives in India today, but she was born and raised thousands of miles away in another country and culture. An only child of affluent parents in Los Angeles, she had all she needed to live “the good life”. After completing her undergraduate degree at Stanford she took a vacation with friends to India. What she found changed her life forever.

Our next speaker is Thomas Nazario! Over his 35-year career, he has taught courses in Family Law, Children's Rights, Education Law, Race Discrimination, Human Rights and Economic Justice and has also worked extensively with inner-city kids in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Nazario's expertise lies in the area of Children's Rights as well as issues related to global poverty. He currently has two books titled "In Defense of Children" and “Living on a Dollar a Day, the Lives and Faces of the World’s Poor.” In addition, Mr. Nazario will be releasing another book called “Doing Good” this spring, and often serves as a host to the le Dalai Lama when His Holiness visits California.

We have four great speakers coming to our event! Over the next four days we will be introducing the speakers one by one. Our first speaker is Dr. Valter Tucci. Dr. Tucci is a neuroscientist and leader of the laboratory of Genetics and Epigenetics of Behavior at the Italian Institute of Technology (Italy). Previously, he has worked in some of the most important research institutes around the world, including Boston University, MIT and Oxford. Tucci’s recent work is focused on the effects of maternal and paternal genes on sleep and brain functions. For more about Dr. Tucci please visit https://www.iit.it/people/valter-tucci
