USF's Debate Team traveled to Atlanta, Georgia for the Social Justice Nationals Debate Tournament at Morehouse College last week. The team took a trip to MLK National Park, Ebeneezer Church (where MLK was a preacher), and to MLK's childhood home. The group also went to the Human and Civil Rights museum. MLK is an alumnus of HBCU Morehouse college.

"The Social Justice Nationals Debate Tournament at Morehouse in Atlanta, served as an example as to what intercollegiate debate could bring to the USFCA campus; platforming diverse perspectives in an inclusive environment to create modern solutions towards a more equitable world. This experience was a memorable way to end my undergraduate career”. - Alana Beltran-Balagso - Senior, Politics and Legal Studies
