LIVE LIFE OUTLOUD! OutLoud is a social advocacy group for AAU’s student q***r community. It is a place to connect our diverse community to opportunities, resources, and to each other to achieve a vision of a stronger, healthier, and more equitable place fo
r q***r people and our allies by organizing events, celebrating our history and culture, and building resources to create a legacy for our current and future students. OutLoud strives to serve the full spectrum of le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, and q***r communities, working to create a safe environment for everyone. As a club we are here to unite students of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. One does not have to identify as q***r to join the club. We actually encourage and welcome our straight allies to join. Our goal is empower, support, and unite q***r students and allies in a social setting. So, in order to provide a safe environment, no member will be asked to share personal information unless they feel comfortable. Location:
OutLoud meets weekly at the Urban Knights Art Cafe at 655 1/2 Sutter Street. Future meeting dates will be announced at the meeting and posted on the facebook group page. Also meeting place is subject to change. The Benefits:

OutLoud not only provides a fun, safe environment to organize events and address q***r issues, but also a place to meet a diverse group of people and make new friends. - National Coming Out Day Celebration with guest speaker co-hosted by Campus Life
- "Cruising the Castro" tour of the Castro neighborhood and history
- Attending San Francisco Gay Mens Chorus performances
- Volunteering for the San Francisco LGBT Center
- Participation in Day of Silence and Transgender Remembrance
- Decorating/constructing a float for OutLoud for participation in the annual SF Pride Parade
