SJSU SWE Team Tech General information about the SJSU SWE team tech page Team Tech is a interdisciplinary national competition ran through the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

Teams, comprising of at least three different fields of engineering work together to purpose and design a project sponsored by industry.Currently, San Jose State is aiming to have a project done by the October 2015 National Conference., and building a team to continue the project for many years to come. For those of you who are curious, Here is a little bit more information on team tech

Team tech teams work with an industry partner to design and build an engineering project. Past projects have included anything from ergonomic check out stands to water treatment ideas. A formal proposal will be due by January, with the project completed by June. Finalists present their projects at the 2015 National Conference.

Each team may comprise of no more then 12 members, but must represent a minimum of three engineering fields. An industry partner outside of the University must fund almost the entirety of the project.
