Our History
Founded in 2015, Downtown Enrichment, a non-profit organization, evolved from Carmen’s vision making a strong, connected neighborhood for her children a tangible reality. She was compelled to respond to her own community’s needs and created an after school program for TK to 5th grade students in the Northside neighborhood of San Jose. With her extensive involvement in child care and de

velopment, along with true dedication Carmen continues to transform not just a community but the lives of each child and family in the neighborhood.
