Dear students

This message is to inform you that this year’s EOPS & ALMASS Student Leadership Conference on March 21st has been cancelled due to the recommendations that were issued by The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department and SJECCD College District. The recommendation of not having large gatherings and events are meant to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community, reduce the number of people infected, and protect those who are most vulnerable to severe illness.

Our district is implementing required actions in accordance with the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department’s recommendations. San Jose City College is fully aware of the disruptions these required actions will cause. However, these required actions were determined utilizing all currently available information and the fact that nothing exceeds the importance of the health and well-being of our students, families, and staff.

Thank you very much for your support in EOPS & ALMASS Student Leadership Conference. We remain committed to serving and supporting our Dreamers . We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to seeing you, next year, at our conference.
