Philanthropy Recap
Last week the brothers of Sigma Chi participated in Alpha Phi’s Heart to Heart philanthropy to fundraise and support woman’s heart health.

Shoutout to our brother Bryan Rivera for running as our candidate and winning heart of gold.

We had a great time in participating in all of their fun events. Thank you to the lovely ladies of Alpha Phi for their time and hosting a wonderful philanthropy.

“I am honored to represent Sigma Chi as we support our lovely Alpha Phi’s in their ambition to raise money for women’s heart health. I have been fortunate to build everlasting friendships with these ladies, who always strive to embody their values of generosity and dedication to their sisters. I have always admired their commitment to their community and hope to embody that as I run for King of Hearts, so I am more than proud to run for them. Their warmth and welcoming nature has always given me a home away from home. This philanthropy holds a special place in my heart as my family has experienced several hardships related to heart health. I am so excited to raise money for an organization that I care for greatly.”

Philanthropy Recap
This past weekend the brothers of Sigma Chi participated in Delta Gamma’s Anchor Splash to raise money for their philanthropy, Service for Sight.

We’d like to congratulate Justin Robinson for winning 1st in synchronized swimming and placing 2nd overall in Anchor Splash!

Through the week we had a tremendous amount of fun raising money, where as a whole, Greek life raised and donated over $15,000 to the Service for Sight campaign.

Thank you to the lovely ladies of Delta Gamma for their time and efforts for hosting a meaningful philanthropy and to everyone else that participated.

We would like to give our brother Justin Robinson a big shout out for participating, on behalf of Sigma Chi, in Delta Gamma’s Philanthropy, Anchor Splash!

“I am blessed to have been granted the opportunity to represent Sigma Chi in running for anchorman this year! Delta Gamma has a special place in my heart, as my mother is a DG and raised me with their values growing up. The values that these women hold encourage and inspire me to live a courageous, giving and loving life as Delta Gamma has helped them to do. Even more, I am excited to do this while raising money for an amazing foundation like Service For Sight.”

This weekend, some of our brothers had the opportunity to join a beach cleanup at Thornton State Beach, along with fellow Sigma Chi brothers from Santa Clara, Stanford, and Cal Berkeley.

We thank our brothers for representing the Epsilon Theta Chapter, while also making the Bay Area community a cleaner environment.

Today we’d like to wish our two Brothers, and Drew Hirayama a Happy Birthday.

Brother Garibaldi is an incoming Junior, RVTF major with a minor in business. Brother Garibaldi serves on our exce board as our current ProConsul, and has previously severed as Annotator and Standards Chair since Spring 21.

Brother Hirayama is an incoming Senior with a business major. Brother Hirayama has also served as Recruitment Chair and Derb Daddy since Spring 20.

The Brothers of Sigma Chi are grateful for their commitment and contributions. We are proud of you Brothers.
