National Badge Day! 🐢❣️

“I have been proudly wearing this badge since my Freshman year in 2019. I got my first dangle (turtle) at the Norma Minch Andrisek Leadership Conference at Miami University in 2022. I then got my second dangle for donating to our national philanthropic partner, the Starkey Hearing Foundation. The dangles are connected to by badge by my chapter guard which symbolizes our chapter, Gamma Lambda. I am proud to be a part of an organization created by women to make space for women to support each other and celebrate their accomplishments. I know I am valued and empowered by not only the women in my own chapter but all over the country! For that I am grateful for Delta Zeta.” -

Our sister .kimmm is running for Ms. Greek this week hosted by ! We are so excited to be participating and can’t wait to support her throughout the week!

“I chose to run for AOII’S philanthropy because I think it is so important to give back to our community. I also have a personal connection to their philanthropy because my grandmother has osteoarthritis. When my mom and I came to the states, my grandmother also left Korea to join us so she can watch me grow up. For me to have this opportunity to be able to raise money and awareness for the Arthritis Foundation means so much. Thank you to the ladies of AOII for this amazing opportunity!” 💟✨

Delta Zeta wants to recognize Black History Month and celebrate all of the individuals who fought for changes and rights within the black community. Our sister Sophia has a few words she would like to say on what Black History Month means to her! 🫶🏼

“Black history month to me is a time to celebrate and honor the legacy black leaders who have paved the way for the advancement of the black community. What it also means to me is recognizing and supporting the black community throughout the continued injustices. As well as getting closer to my roots and foster the understanding of Black history as a whole. Black history months gives us an opportunity to learn and educate together.”
