A message from the director of the Choirs:
“It is with great sadness that I have decided to cancel our livestream concert tomorrow. I know a lot of work went into the preparation of the music, and into the setting up of the PAC to have the livestream.
I feel that now that we have a confirmed case of Coronavirus in SLO County, this is the right thing to do. The health of the community, and most importantly our singers and students, far outweighs any need to perform music. And, although I do think our campus is still very safe, many of our students will travel home to see relatives, and it simply is not worth risking exposure and possible spread to loved ones who might be immunocompromised.”
There is a plan to release some recordings that Polyphonics made of some of their repertoire so that family and friends can see some of the tremendous work they have done this quarter.
