FINAL CALL: We are giving away clean-up kits for those interested in participating in the Creeks to Coast cleanup tomorrow. We will be in the office handing them out until 5 pm today (Friday) and will also have a final pick-up session from 10-2 tomorrow on Saturday. Check out this poster for more details on how to participate. This is an independent trash clean-up, where we encourage you to grab some friends, a kit, and clean up some trash in SLO!! Questions? ECHO Homeless Shelter in Atascadero is in urgent need of volunteers this summer and beyond. If you’re staying in SLO this summer or are interested in volunteering in the fall, come to a volunteer info session hosted by the Center for Service in Action TOMORROW, Thursday May 27th at 11 am to learn more about what ECHO’s needs are and how you can get involved!

In recognition of World Hunger Day on May 28, Cal Poly University Housing and Campus Dining are asking students, faculty and staff to remember their fellow Mustangs, and give to the Mustang Meal Share program or any of the student-support resources on campus.
A program of Campus Dining, Mustang Meal Share allows all first-year students with a meal plan to donate up to $195, enough for 30 meals, anytime throughout the academic year, to help fellow students who are struggling with food insecurity. The program is self-sustaining, and provides an easy way for food insecure students to gain access to nutritious meals so they can focus on their studies and success. All unused Mustang Meal Share money will be rolled over to provide continued support to students on campus.
To donate a meal, students can go to https://www.calpolydining.com/diningprograms/mustangmealshare/ fill out the Mustang Meal Share form , and submit it.

Join Special Olympics and Cal Poly CSA in our LAST social event! We will be hosting a Pictionary Night on Monday, May 24 from 5-6 PM with the athletes from Special Olympics. These events have been such a fun opportunity to meet new people and destress. Cal Poly students have a chance to win Starbucks gift cards at the closing of the event. No artistic skill necessary, all are welcome!

is looking for dedicated individuals to volunteer at SLO’s downtown farmers market. General Tasks Include: Welcoming visitors to the market,

The Center for Service in Action is looking for hard-working, responsible, and energetic students to join our Student Leadership Team! The Center for Service in Action Leadership Team (CSALT) provides the opportunity for students to act as vital members of the community, share their resources with others and develop skills and leadership abilities while creating meaningful social change. The CSALT work to support all CSA events and initiatives, and act as hosts to in-person volunteer events to engage fellow students in service to the local San Luis Obispo Community. The CSA is proud to be hosting the 35th annual Community Service Awards! For 35 years, Cal Poly's Community Service Awards have been presented to students, faculty, staff, and community partner agencies for their contributions to the quality of life in San Luis Obispo and their spirit of civic engagement.
Awards are given to highlight specific achievements in service and are selected on the basis of the written nomination by a panel of faculty, staff and students. Do you know of someone who exceeds in one of the following categories? The nomination form can be found on our website, link in bio!
