Several graduate students from the Orfalea College of Business recently completed corporate tours in San Francisco.
Sixty-five MS in Business Analytics students toured Oracle, where they learned how companies are integrating artificial intelligence into their analytics products. They also visited Electronic Arts (EA), which included a tour and speakers on the analytics of gaming data, and Netflix, where they learned how analytics drives entertainment strategy, from optimizing operations to informing content development and audience engagement.
Meanwhile, Master in Business Administration students visited asset management firm BlackRock, where they learned more about the skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced world of tech, finance, and portfolio management. They also visited Adobe, which included a tour and a panel. After the tours, the students watched the Giants play at Oracle Park.
