Officer Highlight!

Meet Bradley Livingston, the Tractor Pull President!

Bradley is a 3rd year BRAE major from Eureka, California!

Bradley has also been involved in AES from the beginning of his time here at Cal Poly. He gained an interest in the club because he wanted to continue to push himself to be outgoing and involved with is department

This year, Bradley was elected Tractor Pull President. As Tractor Pull President, Bradley was in charge of leading and coordinating the club meetings, taking the tractor and team to all the tractor pulls throughout California all summer, and planning and coordinating the Poly Royal Open House Tractor Pull. Even with so many responsibilities, Bradley handled it all very well and not only managed the Tractor Pull Team very well, but also planned a very successful Poly Royal Pull.

In his free time, you can always find Bradley in the outdoors, riding his dirt bike, fishing, skiing or camping!

Officer Highlight!!

Meet Megan Caird! She is a 3rd year ASM Major from Santa Barbara, California!

Megan has been involved in AES her whole time at Cal Poly, and is a familiar face to many within the club. She particularly enjoys the monthly general meetings that the club hosts where the members are able to listen to guest speakers and receive feedback from professional industry employers.

This year Megan was responsible for coordinating the entire BRAE career fair! She worked very hard inviting industry members to this event and setting up the farm shop that hosted all the industry booths. She did a fantastic job with this huge task, and put on a very successful BRAE Career Fair! Many students in the BRAE Department got jobs and internships because of this great event!

In her free time, Megan enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and going to the beach.

With only 6 days until our 2019-2020 Officer Elections, we will be doing a highlight of a current officer every day this week! Stay tuned to see why AES is worth getting involved in, and make sure to come to the Elections Meeting on Wednesday, April 24th!

Meet Derek Uemura!

Derek is a 4th year BRAE Major from Salinas, California!
He joined AES his freshman year and has been a member ever since!

The thing he loves most about the AES club is the service that the club provides to the campus, such as hosting events like the Career Fair, weekly BBQ, and industry exposure to the department.

As the AES President, Derek is responsible for weekly officer meetings, monthly general meetings and overseeing and ensuring all the AES events go smoothly as well as reaching out to new students and inviting them to join the club. During his free time, you can find him working on his 1985 K5 Blazer, golfing, and hunting.
