We recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Marderosian Family Foundation and Bee Sweet Citrus Automation Lab in the new Plant Sciences Complex — a new hands-on learning space where students will gain real-world experience with the technologies transforming agriculture.

It includes a large open space for fabrication, design and testing small robots, fluid hydraulic systems and sensors and more – giving students in the Cal Poly BioResource and Agricultural Engineering Department and throughout the college, a place to thrive.

Thanks to the generosity of the Marderosian Family Foundation and the partnership of Bee Sweet Citrus , this lab will empower students to tackle industry challenges and develop innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.

We're grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. 💚💛
