The club organizes visits to various veterinary schools each year as well as tours at local veterinary clinics. The club also presents hands-on laboratories and invites guest speakers from the industry. In the past, the club has toured the San Die

Looking to participate and make a difference within the Veterinary Science Club? We’ve got you!🐾🩺🐎

Next week, we will be hosting our club officer elections for the 2026-2027 academic year! Elections will be held in Bldg 10-105, and we will be starting the meeting promptly at 7:00pm to ensure we can hear from each and every candidate. If you plan to run, you must fill out the interest form (linked in bio) and review the requirements for your desired position that are listed in this post or in the form. We ask that all candidates come prepared with a 1-2 minute (maximum) speech to discuss their experience and why they would be a great choice for a VSC board member! If you are unable to make the elections in person but want to run, you may submit your speech in video form and we will project it during the meeting. Additionally, candidates may run for multiple positions if you are unelected to your first choice.

We will be working directly with the foals and learning numerous handling techniques and skills. You won’t want to miss this awesome opportunity to gain some equine experience! Happy Week 4 Vet Club! We have TWO meetings from the University of Missouri this week that you won’t want to miss! On Tuesday, 4/21 @ 6:00pm, Mr. Tindall will be presenting to the whole club about Mizzou’s veterinary medicine program! Then on 4/22, between 9 am and 4:30 pm, students will have the opportunity to meet individually with Mr. Tindall (40 minute appointments) and receive personalized advice regarding their applications!
